Katrina Relief
On June 21, 2008, our third Katrina relief work team will leave Portland for a week in New Orleans. Our host is Berean Bible Church of New Orleans, which has spent considerable time and energy assisting people in great need. Our team will provide free labor to rebuild houses severely damaged by water damage.
Fixing houses is one thing; however, helping people cope with the catastrophic loss requires more than a construction crew. We seek to bring hammers and hugs to those who have need of both.
