Small Groups

And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.  Hebrews 10:24-25 NASV

This admonition is the core of our reason for small groups. While most us are able to gather for worship Sunday morning, our focus there is intended to be on God rather than ourselves. So it is to our benefit to meet with others elsewhere, in a setting that allows us to stir up, to prod one another spiritually. Small groups provide a key setting for that blessed work. The desire is for spiritual friendships that nurture and sustain us. The activities are Bible study, fellowship, and prayer.

Our groups vary in emphasis, in make-up, and location. Some study groups meet for defined time periods, while other groups are ongoing. Recent group studies include Believing God (Beth Moore) and The Truth Project (Focus on the Family). We invite you to contact Pastor Tom or the church office at 839-6985 for more information.
