Announcements
| Baptism: A baptism class will be held the evenings of August 17 and 24 at 6:00. If you are interested, but have not yet spoken to Pastor Dave or Pastor Tom, we invite you to do so. The baptism service will be at Papoose Pond September 6. |
| Sermon CDs: Due to technical difficulties, the sermon CD production is behind. The problem has been found and corrected, and we will catch up with your requests as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience. |
| Past sermons are available on cassette tape and/or compact disk. Cds are in standard audio format. The cost is $1 per tape or cd. |
| Sermon series compilations are available on cd (mp3 format only) for Sanctification (Romans 6-8), Culture Wars (Judges), Titus, and Revelation. The cost is $5 each. |

| AWANA Staff Meeting - Tuesday August 5 at 6:00 pm: Everyone who "has the call" is invited to a get together/planning session for the "meeting of the minds" in the overflow room. This is a great ministry to save little souls, teach little minds, and have a BIG impact on our younger ones. Contact John J. if you have any questions. |

| 10th Annual Galilee Family Camping Weekend: September 5-7, 2008 at Papoose Pond Resort and Campground, Waterford, Maine. Call and make your own reservations at 207-583-4470. There are accommodations for everyone's tastes from campsites to cabins. There's a sign-up sheet in the foyer. |
| Nursery: It's time to register or re-register your "infant to preschooler" for nursery! There will be a sign-up sheet on the table outside the nursery during the month of August. Or you may call Heidi D. to sign up or ask questions. The nursery is in great need of at least four more volunteers. The volunteers help out every other month for the Sunday service at 10:30. |
| Are you looking for financial peace? This fall we will be offering the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University classes beginning September 14 from 5-7 pm for 13 weeks. This class will be teaching a Biblical approach to getting rid of debt and budgeting, as well as charitable giving and investing. If you are interested, please speak with Matt and Renee H. or Alex and Irma M. We will be offering a preview class Sunday mornings during Sunday School on August 10, 17 and 24 in the kitchen for those who would like more info. There is a fee for the curriculum that each family would be responsible for. The deadline to sign up will be August 24. |
