We exist to glorify God by
Praising Him in Worship,
The Worship Service as a corporate gathering is one of the key functions of the church, and the most visible. Here we publicly attest to our love and devotion for God, and in awe and wonder reflect on His majesty through prayer, music, and the reading of Scripture. The Bible as the Word of God is explained through expository preaching and informs both our worship and our daily lives. The sermons are available on tape; the previous week's can be heard via the website.
Choirs for children, teens, and adults rehearse seasonally. Musical programs are typically presented in December, March/April, and June.
Performing arts in addition to music have a role in worship and other programs.
Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ,
Gorham House services are held each month for the residents of this nursing home.
Prison Bible studies encourage and teach those behind bars.
The World Wide Web provides visibility to people around the world right here at www.galileebc.org.
Caring for one another,
Prayer Chains enable us to communicate prayer requests and answers among the church family.
Nursery care during worship services and other programs assists parents to participate and young children to be children.
Helping Hands in situations of need bring flowers, food, companionship, and help.
Older, Wiser, Loving Saints (OWLS) gather monthly for dinners, day trips, parties or other events. This fun and fellowship keeps these over 50's connected and invigorated.
Men's Fellowship Suppers on the third Thursday each month give time and place to encourage one another as Christian brothers.
and Preparing believers
Sunday School classes for all ages meet throughout the year. Age appropriate lessons teach the truth from the Bible, an ancient book with supreme value for our modern world. There is a nursery for infants and toddlers. Elective classes for adults meet regularly.
Small groups meet weekly or bi-weekly in several locations, and include both focused prayer groups and Bible studies. Many people are developing lasting friendships and strengthening their faith as they interact and care for one another. For further information on meeting times and topics contact the church office.
AWANA Clubs for children age 3 to grade 6 meet weekly. Bible memorization, lessons, and a game time comprise the core activities. Special activities occur throughout the year. Tuesdays 6:00-7:30 pm, September through April.
FBIC (Firm Believers In Christ) is our youth group for teens grades 7-12. Scripture lessons and activities complement special events and trips. Sundays 5:30-7:30 pm throughout the school year.
Libraries for children and adults provide books and resources for pleasure and study.
To fulfill His Global Mission.
World Missions has from the beginning been an important part of Galilee. We support and participate in missions work around the world in addition to local ministry.
Short term missions trips enable mixed groups of people to experience in person what God is doing in other parts of the world, and to grow spiritually as well.

Our Facility provides opportunities for skill and creativity to be applied to enhancing beauty and function both inside and out. From flower gardens to computer systems, care is required to produce a setting in which the eye is delighted, the mind is challenged, and the spirit is invigorated.
Our Finance people provide careful oversight and accounting to high standards. We make every effort to maintain a Biblical standard of integrity, including compliance with applicable civil law.
